  • Labor Day- Sept. 2, 2019
  • Martin Luther King Day Jan. 20, 2020
  • Mini Break/Good Friday – April 10, 2020
  • Thanksgiving Week- November 26 - 29, 2019
  • Presidents Day February 17, 2020
  • Winter Break December 23 – Jan 6, 2020
  • Spring Break- March 13 - 20, 2020
  • Memorial Day May 25, 2020
*Tuition is due the First class of each month regardless of Holiday *Tuition is based on a 10 month class session *We accept Cash, Check, Visa, Master Card and Discover
Classes will be held on all other public school holidays and professional days!
*All classes must have a minimum of 8 students. Classes subject to change.
Notice: IF YOU DEDCIDE TO DROP A CLASS(S) , YOU MUST GIVE US 30 DAYS NOTICE OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE FOLLOWING MONTH.

RULES & REGULATIONS

  • Classes will start promptly. Students should arrive no more than 15 min. early and be prepared to dance--shoes and dancewear on! Late students will not be admitted to class without teacher’s permission.
  • Please be prompt in picking up your child! Three studios will be in use at all times and will create a large number of students at the school at all times.
  • If absent, please notify studio prior to class. Make-ups available within one month of date missed.
  • Any injuries or congenital problems should be reported to all teachers.
  • DRESS CODE: *** Hair pulled back in a bun & tightly secured for all classes! *** no jewelry
    • Pre-Ballet: Pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes.
    • Ballet l & up: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes.
    • Ballet/Pointe: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes.
    • Tap: leotard, tights, tap shoes (check with teacher for style and color!)
    • Jazz: Any solid color dancewear (no red or yellow leotards AND no crop tops), tan jazz shoes.
    • Contemporary: Black leotard and convertible tan tights. Ask teacher about shoe choice.
    • Musical Theater: Any dancewear, tan jazz shoes.
    • Hip Hop: Tights, leotard are required. No red or yellow. Dance shorts, pants and dance tops over leotards only. Black hip hop shoes.
  • Students not dressed in proper dancewear will be asked to sit and watch class only.
  • Do not leave lobby until your ride arrives.
  • Do not wear dance shoes outside of studio. No Food or drink in the studio.
At Attitudes In Dance in Venice, Florida, we offer an array of dance and ballet classes for students ages three and up. Our dance studio welcomes students of all skill levels.

Registration

You may register over the phone anytime. Classes begin August 10.

Classes Offered:

Pre-Dance: Ages 3–5
  • Pre-ballet and tap with song and dance
Ballet Classes: Ages 6 & up
  • Elementary: Correct posture and basic technique is stressed, laying the foundation of classical training.
  • Intermediate & Advanced: Graded classes according to ability rather than age for students who attain the required standards of proficiency.
Pointe: Ages 10 & up
  • Pointe requires ballet classes at a minimum of twice a week. The instructors determine when a student is ready on an individual basis.
Jazz: Ages 6 & up
  • Elementary: Little to no dance experience is required.
  • Intermediate: Prior dance experience in either ballet or jazz is required.
Lyrical: Ages 8 & up
  • Lyrical dance is set to lyrics or instrumentals to tell a story. 
Hip-Hop: Ages 6 & up
  • This dance class features MTV® and modern, social-type dancing.
Tap: Ages 4 & up
  • This dance class features the Al Gilbert Barre and Debbie Dee techniques–placement is done by age and skill.
Theater Dance: Ages 6 & up
  • All aspects of Broadway musical theater dance are included in this class.
Irish Step Dance: Ages 4 & up
  • Soft shoe to hard toe instruction is available.
